Tour de France

Tour de France is an annual cycling contest held in France. 3 week long that is 21 days consists of 21 stage. Each day is divided in 4 parts points classification for sprinters, mountain classification for the climbers, young riders classification for the young riders under age 26, team classification for the fastest team. Every day these 4 stages were carried out and the fastest rider lead the next day race wearing yellow Jersey. 

Riders has to cover 3500 kilometres. Traditionally event is held in july month. Route changes every year by anticlockwise or in clockwise sense. The race was started in 1903. Over hundred years it popularity increased every year. 

There are usually 20 to 22 teams participate in this race. Each team is of 9 members. These members persue there team to victory.
